SKULL: Trapped Thoughts
Ace of Pentacles.

You keep thoughts of finances, financial/material prosperity, and new opportunities regarding physical materials (money, land, or other items you value) locked away. Whether this is temporary or long term is unclear, but it is clear that you are keeping these to yourself for a reason. Perhaps you want to surprise someone, but more likely you want your business to be yours and for others to understand there are boundaries regarding what they are and are not entitled to know. This secrecy may at times feel like a burden, a blessing, or both.

RIB CAGE: Hidden Feelings
The Devil.

You hide what makes you feel dark, depraved, addicted, chained, (in)human beyond any other sense of being. You hide feeling about yourself and others you view as more “devil” than yourself. You hide not fear or disdain, but anxiety that comes up at the thought of what the Devil represents (within yourself).

The Devil is the inverse of The Magician in some ways and the the inverse of The Lovers in other ways. He takes power and corrupts it, do you feel corrupted by your power? He takes “lovers” and chains them together under his watch until they morph into people they “never” could have been before. Do you think you have changed beyond what you once thought right or capable of? Do you feel darker than you anticipated, or perhaps not dark but too chained in place? Do you hide feelings about having chained others into a darker path? This would make you The Devil and not either of the people present which would make sense.

This card was eager to come out, but wants to reveal less now that I am looking at it. Consider why “The Devil” has to be a secret, why you hide these feelings.

BACKBONE: Secrets that Hold You Up
8 of Cups.

I’m feeling some type of abandoment attached to this card. Someone walked away from you or something very important to you that informs how you act (and treat others) to this day. I believe this is something that happened when you were young, it seems like a very personal relationship. Maybe, even though all the “cups” were full, they still chose to leave. Perhaps it seems as though they were not leaving to greener pastures, but simply leaving for the sake of it.

This is something that “holds you up,” something that is very much a part of you and your personality. Consider what it might be like to try and override this, consider trying to.

LEFT ARM: What You Wish You Could Tell
The Chariot.

You wish you could tell someone, or multiple others, that you want to move (on). That it is no longer time for you to be “here,” doing “these” things, but time for you to find something/place new and follow a different path than the one they have set out (or the one they approve of). There’s an element of duality here, of balance and also communication. You know the movement you want, or that is coming soon, comes at some “price” (however real or illusionary) to others if not yourself. While it may be best to hold off on communication about this movement or change in course, you wish you could talk about it (freely).

Consider what would happen if you did. Does this need to be a secret?

RIGHT ARM: What You Wish Could Never Be Known
Knight of Wands.

The risks you take and have taken, that while you might stay in one place or with one person a long time, you have a fleeting relationship with certain things that others might consider as things that should be more permanent . Could be your sense of how long (certain types of) relationships should last, how long you want to be in one location, how long you can think about the same things, or how long you would like to keep the same occupation.

This card is about you chasing freedom, taking risks and keeping quiet about to what extent. (I think this might have a connection to the 8 of Cups.)

LEFT LEG: What You’ve Buried
Queen of Cups.

I’m a little conflicted about this card. You seem like someone who is pretty self aware and confident in yourself to me. That said… this shows that you have buried some aspect of yourself at sea, that you have tried to let it be washed away, and that you do not want to look in the mirror and see it. This is something likely related to emotions, femininity, and/or power.

Consider what it might be like if you dug it up.

RIGHT LEG: What Others Have Buried
10 of Swords Reversed. (Ace of Cups Reversed.)

These two cards came out together.

Others have buried emotional prospects, emotional ties/connections, and emotional prosperity regarding your healing and/or your ability to stand for yourself. Others have tried either heal you too quickly or tried to fault you for relationships/emotional connections that have not been in your favor.

Whoever these “others” are, they want this to go on for a long while. They do not want the swords to come out, instead they want for you to be blocked, stagnated, and even unaware of the situation if possible. If you have been blamed for having feelings or being with people (in whatever/any type of relationship) and have had your emotions denied, belittled, or hidden by others; you are not at fault. Others are attempting to keep you down as you try to stand.
