First thing I thought was angel. Then I scrolled down and looks like I am not the only one!

It is a Mercurial spirit. I’m not sure I’d call it an angel, but certainly a celestial being

If it is Mercury the Planet himself, then I would say it is a God (Following Platonism and Book III of the Corpus Hermeticum, and most cultures seem to see the Celestial Beings as Gods in general).
But, some seem to sense them as Angels. I think they are similar enough for them to feel that way (Traditionally, Angels are said to reside in Heaven, so I believe this is why).
