Commotion on Twitter which is baseless at itās core. Someone apparently āimproved onā an art piece by Hopper and itās just ā¦not good. For him it was about filling space and making it look bright, but the art itself was meant to provoke emotion. Now it just feels like a pop up ad. Saw an artist say theyāre losing motivation because of ai art.
The spirit of art has not died, and artists are still living and learning and making art, but the community has been affected by it. Artists and writers both. Itās weird to see all of this go down, really. Weāre really in dystopia.

Its just a beginning . AI will be far more powerful Companies wont publicly say it but they are feeding AI TBās of data per minute.
Mostly this will affect Graphics Designers, Game Level Designers even Artists.
Whats more scary is we cant do anything to stop it , because after some point the machine will start learning these things on its own

why would you waste 100ās of dollar to design your logo when you can do it for free and you get thousands of options to select from
same goes for content writing like blog pages or for advertising

Observe this when you keep your phone down , the number of notifications on your phone are bare minimum ( am not saying notifications you get from whats app , insta , snap etc )
As soon as you pick your phone up you will get notification from zomato , swiggy, inshorts or mails from a newsletter
Because they know that you have the phone in your hand and its a good time to send you a notification as the chances of you reading it will be more

because
a) its keeping food on someoneās table. the art thatās inputted in softwares is also the art that someone made.
b) I can change stuff about it, tweak it to the most minute thing to replicate what I think of.
c) because itās human 
and the only notifs I get are YouTube and WhatsApp, I donāt have food delivery apps and I muted notifications for the rest from my settings.

Vague generalizations tend to miss as much information as they capture. In one nation, ai development regarding trucks (automation) was throddled because it preserves jobs. There is plenty of room in the world for a variety of approaches.

Iāve come to the conclusion that AI is just another tool. Have you asked chatgpt to write a story? It sucks. And all the technological advancement wonāt make it better, because the software understands theoretically how to do it, but it can only reproduce it, not produce it. You need sentience for that.

Trueā¦ right now to generate a very good image or story we have to provide a detailed prompt but imagine the amount of data that gets generated everyday and the same data gets feed to train a machine

Man i have a friend who used an app or something to do an assignment, she basically typed it in and it turned the typed letters to look like handwritten ones. Thankfully it wasnāt a scored one so the prof took it lol.
