Last movie I watched? “The Blue Max.” Old flick about WW1 aviators. I love the exchange where George Peppard—the flick’s egalitarian “hero”—asks an experienced flier. “You have 18 victories? Any others unconfirmed?” “Three.” “So you actually have 21.” The other, with a look of amused contempt answers, “No, I have 18.” An entire philosophy of life and universe encapsulated in that scene.
