mike, a question for you? What kind of sleep cycle do you have. So you don’t sleep at all until you do the ritual around 3-4 in the morning? Or do you go to bed at night and wake up with the alarm set for the ritual? What is your advice to us?

Honestly, I keep some weird ass hours. I sleep when I’m tired, I eat when I’m hungry, I play as often as possible and work when contracted or paid to do so.

I’ve been a little distant lately and I want to assure everyone that I’m fine. Having moved recently back to the city of Manila proper and reestablishing the fabled Temple of the Backwards Tree was challenging. Anyone familiar with spirit work will know that when a spirit had a focus object in your home or on your altar where the spirit is regularly called or presented offerings knows that spirits most can become very confused with exact locations in the 3d world of ours. It’s like moving a pets water or food dish and the moments of confusion and anxiety your pet will display until the mystery of the missing food bowl is solved. No I’m not comparing the spirit with our pets in a derogatory way I’m saying that any changes not discussed first can create confusion with spirits.
Like you don’t clean their offering dishes and mix them up and present them all willy nilly, well you shouldn’t anyway they know what’s their glass or bowl or plate and what is not. It starts quarreling and bickering and fights when something they considered “theirs” is put in front of a different spirit. Doesn’t matter what the object is either, it matters that they thought it was theirs. They take the concept of property and “possession” wayyyyyyyyyy farther than we do. It’s like a jolly rancher candy, idgaf who’s it was really, but they will flip the fuck out if it was dedicated to them and you put it on another spirits dish or bowl.
So my point to all this is moving your temple sucks.
I should be around more regularly again become active again here. I’d really like to follow @CosmicTofu lead and begin my study and Incorporation of enochian Magick into my practice.

I want to add, this isn’t the case among all Spirits, however. I often share the same incense stick among multiple Celestial Spirits and Gods. Never had problems with this personally.
Yeah, I’d be very hesitant to do so! I am even hesitant to do so among non-Celestial Gods. It’s something that just arose in my practice due to circumstances. But, I never had troubles with it.
Yeah this is a very fascinating aspect of what would I think be rightly called “parapsychology” I don’t know if a word for this exists yet. But as you know @Laurel_Spider living with them, sharing your home, your sacred Temple and your very life and it’s blood with them, they have very real thoughts and feelings and wants and desires and for some reason I don’t understand the concept of “yours and mine” is really really strongly pronounced with them.
I’ve watched them shout at eachother and it’s resembles two or maybe 3 badly behaved 6 year olds going on about who is going to have what toy. Sharing is rare, I once ran out of wine for a guest and Orobas had his own bottle at the time and his own pack of camels (his favorite Turkish gold) and he actually was gracious enough to offer the guest out of his supply … Idk
I was proud he was sharing but i suspect it was a gesture to show his superiority.
Perhaps one of the reasons is this: information and rumors are quickly exchanged among spirits, and if one of them is soft and weak about her or his property a few times, she or he will have to fight for anything every day in the future.
