I saw it somewhere in the twenty pages, they have to unlock it like pms.

I can’t edit even right after posting.

The first day I had the option to edit my title and posts, but after that there’s no pen. I was just wondering if it was supposed to be unlocked (yet), but if I just have to post more then that’s cool too.

There’s a lot of settings we are trying to get a handle of, we are trying to implement what makes sense and what doesn’t, but none of us had full access before, so we don’t know what parameters to use and are just raising them up as you guys point out it’s a problem.

Discourse default settings were more than likely not expecting an active community familiar with the software.

Usually it would be people completely new, not people who already have a good foundation in its mechanics and how it operates.

This is good for us, but like I said we didn’t have a baseline. We just have to adjust as the problems arise

The software is not broke or wrong or acting up except for in case of invites- which are only not working if it’s not a .com email so.

It’s set to really long editing windows for everyone. Maybe it’s too long.

Maybe we can make it 2 hours, so if people are emotional there’s a little more time than before but it’s not basically unlimited?

I’m looking at it and there’s no way the number of edits is over limit if there’s no way to edit to begin with so…

The only thing I can think is maybe the window is to big.

We always intended the option to exist. If it is not working, is because something is not right. So it is a good catch on your end :slight_smile:

Yeah I’d prefer we not just let things go, we have the ability to adjust a lot of the problems I’ve seen before- we just don’t know the right adjustments to make lol.
