I’ve been doing magick on and off for 7 years. I’ve had periods where I heavily dabbled in it, yet I have never had results.
I followed everything I read online. I wasn’t attached, etc. Still, nothing works. I manage to summon spirits (I think), but I am not getting anything from them. Even from spirits where I have built up connections for years.
I’m very frustrated.
Just to kinda get a gist of me. I’m basically a fat, ugly incel kind of guy. My life is absolute garbage since forever, and this is my only chance at getting somewhere where I may just be happy and content for once.
This may sound like I’m super attached to my manifestations, but over the years, I learned to not care if it works or not. I just kept on living my life.
All my love magick related stuff failed, poof, thin air. My money stuff didn’t work either, and neither did my death magick. And fuck me that curse period was where I even used tools and such.
I honestly have no idea what else to do. Everything is fucked.
You can loose weight using fibre tablets before meals. Just drink more water when you do so.
Get a copy of Anton LaVey’s Satanic Witch. It’s written for women but the principles apply to either sex. Especially great if you can read between the lines.
Try Sigils. There’s material on these boards.
Al.
Ps. And get a whip so you can flog yourself just a little harder than you are already.
Im currently on this diet called OMAD. Just one meal. Thats how I lost all the weight back in the day, but regained everything once I realised nothings changed in my life.
I used to lurk a lot on balg, so only things I did was sigil work. Summoning spirits is quiet easy, i get the feels and all that, but i just can’t get my desires.
Learn (a piece at a time) the Naamah Evocation. Practice it like a movie part. Then deliver it with passion. Naamah is the most physical and quick spiritual entity with whom I’ve worked. She’s great for dirty sex and manifesting material things - like money.
You should also consider a reciprocal arrangement by giving Her an offering of condoms to high school students or leaving these where these will be found by said students. Naamah accepts desert fruits, but for the dirty sex love of your life you’ll need to give more than desert fruits. Just saying. Ask Her for inspiration regarding an offering and you’ll get it.
That stated, spiritual entities want to be recognised, so you could promise to spread Her name and fame, etc. That’s what I did.
And I won’t have to tell you twice - keep your word!
Regarding Sigils: Magick is like learning a musical instrument - you have to practice until you get the hang of it and with dedication, you will. Alternatively, me and others on these boards are all only live action role players having ourselves on.
Al.
Ps. You still a member of that other group? I have my reasons for asking. Lady Eva was OK, but then she left and others came along and I got banned. I’ve been asked to re-join, probably so they can ban me again.
No, my active periods weren’t just a few months. More like four years straight before I took a break.
Yeah, I’ve evoked quite a few spirits. Pretty much all the Goetia love demons, and a few from the Vidian as well.
Please don’t hit me with any of that new age victim-blaming nonsense. Those are the most passive-aggressive and offensive “advice” you can give. I wasn’t always like this back then.
This is actually very good advice. If you’re striving for Godhood you need to start acting like a God. Alternatively, you may wish to join a right-hand path group where you can luxuriate in your misery with others of similar attitude.
There’s material on these boards and elsewhere which works, but you have to actually do it as opposed to lolling around with a poor, poor pitiful me attitude.
I wasted more precious years than I care to remember before Magick started working, but Magick actually does work. And I wish you every success.
It’s honestly not good advice and completely overlooks the bigger issue. Like I’ve said before, I was different back then, and even when I was deep into my Neville Goddard phase, nothing worked. It’s just delusional. Breaking free from that was actually a blessing, but now people want to drag me back into it.
It’s all victim-blaming nonsense. Maybe the spirits just aren’t that powerful, and I need to explore other methods.
But no one seems to have any real alternatives. They just fall back on the typical Law of Attraction defense: “Well, it must be your fault.”
Well, what exactly are you trying to gain or achieve in your studying of magick? I am sure that there are others who have or are experiencing similar things and similar setbacks.
I personally try to be thorough in my research and to establish a philosophical foundation and framework for my practices so that I can place my experiences and observation in their proper places and understand them more precisely.
If you’re willing to share with us more details about exactly what your end goal is and what some of your views are concerning magick and related fields of study and practice, I think we might be able to help you better.
My ultimate goal with magick is pretty simple: I just want a girlfriend, kids, and a stable job with a decent income. I’m not looking to mess around or chase after the prettiest, thinnest girl. Just a loyal partner, and that’s all I need.
Ok, I understand that. Although I think it is certainly possible that magick can help you with those things, I also think that magick works synergistically (meaning “working together”). In other words, we have to cooperate with it, but it does not just give us things. Magick can help you find a girlfriend, kids, and a stable job, but you still have to put yourself out there and work hard toward those things. If put in your own effort and combine that effort with various forms of magick, then I think you will be much more likely to achieve those things.
For example, going out to meet new people, presenting yourself well, and learning new skills that will help you find work can greatly benefit you. Meanwhile, I would recommend practicing meditation, if you don’t already, and seeking out a mentor or at least a successful practitioner of magick who can guide you in your journey. There is no shame is seeking out a teacher.
In many religious traditions the idea has always been: You can’t just ask the Gods for things and expect to get them without any effort on your own part.
There’s a classic story from Aesop’s Fables, an Ancient Greek source:
A Waggoner was driving his team along a muddy lane with a full load behind them, when the wheels of his waggon sank so deep in the mire that no efforts of his horses could move them. As he stood there, looking helplessly on, and calling loudly at intervals upon Hercules for assistance, the god himself appeared, and said to him, “Put your shoulder to the wheel, man, and goad on your horses, and then you may call on Hercules to assist you. If you won’t lift a finger to help yourself, you can’t expect Hercules or any one else to come to your aid.”
-Translated by V. S. Vernon Jones
It has the added message of “Heaven helps those who help themselves”.
In my opinion, we are not here to be lazy, we are here to participate in life.
I mentioned this in another thread, but in cases like this, it’s really just the person taking action and succeeding on their own, not a god intervening.
For example, if I summon a sex god and then go to a hooker the next day and pay for her, that’s not the god helping me. That’s me taking matters into my own hands.
What I’m getting at is that we often give these gods credit for our own efforts and actions.
I directed you to the Naamah Evocation, as Naamah is the most material and quickest entity with whom I’ve worked. She also has a very nice nature and is great with newbies. Did you learn Her evocation? Have you performed it?
Let me answer for you - “No!” And I read your excuse (which frankly, I’ve forgotten) because excuses are like arseholes - everybody has one!
Naamah is great for dirty sex and I have found for money. That stated, you’ll need to make her a promised offering. And if you don’t keep your word you’ll never doubt the veracity of Magick, like ever again. Just stating!
Alternatively, the right hand path may be yours. And the rhp is powerful, it’s just no longer my cup of tea, so to speak. Or go the whole hog and join a church. There’s heaps of hopeless cases who attend. You may well find a woman there who’s just like you. Who knows?
