Hieronymous Bosch (1450-1516), a Dutch renaissance painter who depicted hell (and heaven, sometimes)
Otto Dix, German expressionist painter (who heavily influenced my undergrad art thesis including the 3-piece painting, called a triptych, in my profile)
hehe
I love the first one! And the second-to-last.
Vintage engraving by E R Hughes from The Nights of Straparola. Collection of 75 stories by Italian author and fairy tale collector Giovanni Francesco Straparola. Modeled after Boccaccio’s Decameron, it is significant as often being called the first European storybook to contain fairy-tales. Seventh night, First Fable. The Demon Horse.

Zeus
Not Juno?
Athena is the title of the painting given by Erte, the artist (for all the art I posted here, I used the titles given by the artists)
However, I think Erte confused the two. But then again, he wasn’t religious or spiritual (based on a brief google search), and only used spirituality as symbolism/metaphor/allegory in his art.
Casper?
idk
I’m sure many of you are already familiar with this artist-
William Blake:
Another painting titled “The Great Red Dragon and the Woman Clothed with the Sun”
The Number of the Beast is 666
The Great Red Dragon and the Beast from the Sea
The Sun at his Eastern Gate
The Goddess, the Eternal Feminine, and the Spiritual Potential of Women
I just really like this one.
