🦚 Journal of Art 🖼

I’ve been messing around with AI art, so I’m starting thread to not clutter the other. Maybe it’s just me, but some of these pieces… idk

Maybe I’ll evoke said spirit through this ai art, if nothing more than to form a novel avenue of communication. Maybe as gateways to trusted spirits.

It looks really cool but I’ve never heard of ai created art. Does that mean you tell the computer/ai what you want and it just randomly generates it?

Do you fill in lots of criteria or is it simple?

I know about manually building textures in something like gimp, but the ai thing is making me scratch my head :rofl:

And I’m short of sleep too!

Basically you give it a line of text, choose a theme, and it like remixes google images using math stuff that is beyond me, and makes a novel image. Most look like AI generated art, in that is looks like incoherent images put together

Okay this makes sense and explains why I’m not familiar. You’d need to be good at your part to get anything worth your time. Thank you for explaining that for me

I love using wombo to make archetype / entity art!! I’ve gotten some really cool ones for King Paimon.

Your art sure is cool. I love the first one very much!

I just wish all this AI art didnt make me feel so…uncomfortable. Idk. Ever since it started showing up on reddit almost every piece I see gave me weird vibes. Maybe Im just projecting my insecurities since I prefer my art to be drawn by hand. Lol

Artists do have a concern about AI replacing humans, but it cannot take away the beauty of human made art. Human made art has that touch of human-ness and that artist essence.

I downloaded two apps for this last night, I got the wrong one the first try and it’s not as cool, but I made some cool shit too.

Then I downloaded the one you use, and put in the French for Horror Pain Death, and A collection of Servitors From Keteriya’s Grove.

Man I got some stupid cool shit. Almost everyone of the servitor ones came out looking like there were alien/animal shaped beings in it…

I saved them all, Idk whether to share them or not but I wasted like three hours with having fun.

I thought it had potential for book covers honestly, but I’m sure they don’t allow that. But there might be a service that does? I’d be interested and pay a subscription if I could do whatever I wanted to with the art.

I did try the subscription for both, but neither said anything about it that I was able to find while scanning the terms.

The thing about AI is that the bedrock is people. AI couldn’t digest all of google images if people weren’t there first to create the material. I find AI art super unique and inspirational, but it doesn’t have a “spark” like human art does. In my opinion

I thought that till I started playing around with it. Some of the images I got with the word servitor though… I could give them that spark easily enough.

I wonder if one could divine or just feel, to see if some of these AI images are more aware or conscious compared to other AI images.

I think so, I also think if you looked at it with the intent of making an entity you could probably get results that come up with more life to them too.

I was quite literally thinking when I came up with the phrase for the grove, that hell I could sketch a book cover if I found one that had the right feel. I got a lot of stuff that feels like it wouldn’t take much to make it live.
