I’ve written before about this topic here. The way I use the techniques however have evolved dramatically since I wrote that tutorial, so I am hoping to present a more operational model for your use.
The premise of this type of work, is that all things are energy. Most of us will already know this, so to understand that your thoughts, and your emotions are energy is not a very big leap of faith. Using a few simple techniques that require nothing more than your imagination and a clear idea of what you wish, you can direct the energy of your thoughts and emotions to influence other people, situations and occurrences in your life to garner the results you want to have.

Figure out what it is you want to have. Is it pizza for dinner? Is it your ex to text you? Is it that you get a $100 loan from your mom? Doesn’t matter what it is, you have to decide.

Who, or what can affect whether or not you get this? Is it your husband drives by the pizza shop every night on their way home, or a board of executives you’ve never met at the bank? It doesn’t matter who it is, it matters how they are related to what you need. You want to pick the person or people who are going to ultimately decided Yepper Keteriya can have pizza tonight, and a new dress.

Relax. You don’t need a deep trance state do this work, but it can help if you are able to operate in one. If not, a light trance is more than fine, it’s most important that you calm your mind.

Focus on you. Remember what it was you wanted. Are you hungry and wanting pizza? Thing about it. Think about what it feels like to be hungry, think about how your tummy sounds when it rumbles. Thing about how good it feels when you are full, and how bad your burps smell when you let one loose.

Think about your target. Imagine how they smell, the texture of their skin, the color of their eyes. If it’s a lust/love target think about what it would like to kiss them, touch them etc. If it’s an ex you want to contact you, think about the good times, the things that were right. Try to remember how things felt, to your heart, to your mind.

Imagine that you and the target are alone. I like to use an astral temple, but you don’t need to. Find a way to imagine it’s just you and them, and it’s a private conversation. You can say whatever you want to say- they can’t argue with you, tell you no, or otherwise demean what you want.

Tell the target what you want. Imagine them hearing the sound of your voice, listening intently to what you say. If you can feel energy, imagine your words and your energy entering the targets mind. I like to imagine my thoughts go into their ears, then bouncing or circling about inside their brain, like they are thoughts of the targets own.
If it’s a baneful target, tell them what they have to lose if they don’t do what you want. Tell them what you will do, who you know that will, how much easier it is if they just cooperate, or just never speak to you again.
Tell them what you want, like it’s a request they need to carry out. Tell them what you want them to feel, share with them how it feels to you, share the reasoning to your side if it makes sense to- all these things direct the energy of your intent, and lay the groundwork for successfully overcoming the other persons desire if necessary, or intensifying their decision if they are in your camp already.

Dismiss the other person from your imagination. Tell them to go and do it now, let them fade away into the background.

Imagine all energetic connection to the target from you dissolving. You don’t need to visualize, you can think about it as a sentence in your mind if you have to- you just need to imagine what it means to have your energetic link to the target dissolve, so you are no longer connected to the target. You don’t want their energy, thoughts or wants to come back and affect you- like you are affecting them.

Banish if you feel the need, otherwise return to life. Repeat steps 1-8 upon instinct. Think about the problem, how dire the need is and how often you should do this. Let your instincts, your gut, the back of your mind- answer the question.

If you find yourself obsessing over your desire either A. repeat the process to expend the energy, or B. Tell yourself the work is done and you’re merely waiting for the result. Distract yourself, think of something else but do your best to know it’s just done, and any moment the result will appear.
