Wheel of Hekate Consecration

Make a triangle of manifestation with your hands over the seal while reciting.

Hail to Hekate, keyholder of the world
Hail to Enodia, keeper of the triple road
Hail to Nekuia, guardian of the grave
Nether, Nocturnal, and Infernal one
I call thee by thy three secret names
Ereshkigal, Neborosoaleth, Aktiophis

Oh Hekate!
By your name I call forth the Fates!
All powerful Morae
Clotho, Lachesis, and Atropos
I stir, conjure, and call thee!
You, who originate, measure, and cut the fabric of life,
Take mercy upon thy thread
And spin the tide of battle in my favor

Oh Hekate!
By your name I call forth the Furies!
Terrible ones spawned from the blood of Uranus
Alecto, Tisiphone, Megaera,
I stir, conjure, and call thee!
Come forth from Erebus and protect the bearer of this seal
Through righteous wrath drive out all attackers!
May not even the names of my enemies exist!

Oh Hekate!
By your names I call forth the Gorgons!
Serpent-haired guardians of the secret crossroads
Euryale, Stheno, Medusa
I stir, conjure, and call thee!
Come forth from the west and protect the nearer of this seal!
You who are covered in impenetrable scales,
With serpent hair and hands of brass,
Guard against all malicious spirits and sorceries
Be present and stand ready!

Oh Hekate!
By your name I call forth the Graces,
Thalia, Euphrosyne, Aglaia,
I stir, conjure, and call thee,
Heal all harm that has been done by my enemies
And lead me on paths of plenty
Hekate Propylaia
Hekate Phosphoros
Hekate Propolyos
Protectress, Illuminator, and Guide
It is in your name I call the spirits
To ask for their favor, fury, protection, and grace
It is by your power that it shall be done
Hail to Hekate, Keyholder of the World

Spirit Trap Consecration

Hail many-named mother of the gods, whose children are fair
Hail mighty Hekate, Mistress of the Threshold
You who walks disheveled and wild through tombs and cremation grounds
Cloaked in saffron, crowned with oak leaves and coils of serpents
You who is followed by hordes of ghosts, dogs, and restless spirits
I come to you for aid.
I call thee by thy three secret names
Ereshkigal, Nebotosoaleth, Aktiophis
Empower this seal, and make it mighty
That it may ensorcel those spirits that cause harm and trouble
May the Empiase be trapped within it
May the Lamia be trapped within it
May the Mormo be trapped within it
may the Vrykolakas be trapped within it
May the Apotropaioi be trapped within it
May all manner of Spectres, Phantoms, and Kakodaemon be trapped within it
Be drawn into the triangles
Forever to live within the confines of this seal
Hekate, Mistress of the Threshold
Accept my offering and bless this seal.

Candle Reversal Spell

Shadow, hear my call to thee
Pitiful hate-filled enemy
Be malignant if you will
For I am more malignant still.
I turn you over to Hekate
To send the curse back to thee
Damning you as wax burns down
Committing your power to the ground.

Doll in a Mirror Cage Spell

Place the doll in a box lined with a mirror and recite:

___ , for your own sake
I pray you no more trouble make
For to torment me for your own gain
Will only bring you greater pain
For I am a child of Hekate
And she is mightier than thee
From this hour forth all ill-intent
Shall back upon thy head be sent
In the name of Nebotosoaleth, Ereshkigal, and Aktiophis
And by my own word and will,
Though shall be thine own victim.

Go forth and witness my rite!
Seize my enemy’s tongue!
May not even his words exist!
Sigy! Sigy! Sigy!

Spell for Spirit Contact in Dream

Draw an image of Hekate with two torches on one piece of linen and a key on another. Smoke them both in myrrh incense. Place the image of Hekate underneath you while you sleep, lengthwise under your spine, and the key image sideways under your pillow. Pray the following:

Nebotousoaleth, Mistress of Movement in Dreams
Let my key unlock the gates of the Onieros
And allow (name of spirit) to appear and speak truthfully.
May your twin torches burn behind my closed eyes
And illuminate the corridors of sleep.
IO HEKA IO HO

Prayer to Hekate to Open the Gates of Spirit

Hail many named mother of the gods, whose children are fair
Hail mighty Hekate of the threshold, keyholder of the world
Hail to Enodia, keeper of the four and three-way crossroads
Nether, nocturnal and infernal one
I beckon to you, hear my plea
Night mother! Savior! Mistress of solitude!
Lady of light, and the darkness that contains it
You who walk disheveled and wild through tombs and cremation grounds
Cloaked in saffron, crowned with oak leaves and coils of serpents
You who are followed by hordes of ghosts, dogs, and restless spirits
Yet are also the luminous empress of the empyrian realms.
I beckon to you, hear my plea
Kleidokhous, grant me the key to the mysteries
Propylaia, throw open the gateway to the world of spirits
Phosphoros, light my way with your twin torches of mercy and severity
Propolos, steer me safely through the four rivers of spirit
Brimo, shake the pillars of perception with your wrath
Physis, bind all Demons and troublemaking spirits
Kleidokhous, grant me the key to the mysteries
Anassa eneroi, queen of the dead, bring me contact
With my Ancestors and the shades of Witches past.
Hekate Chthonia, Queen of Sorcery
Teacher of howlings and bindings, curses and blessings
Bring to me all spirits I call in your name
Whether they be dwelling in the earth or the underworld
In the swirling airs or highest heavens
In the fires or waters of any place anywhere
Bring them forth and grant me their conversation.

Aktiophis, shine for me and dispel the darkness of fear.
Whisper to the serpent on my behalf and let him carry your will.
Neboutosoaleth, let the moon’s light heal me and make me well.
Strengthen my mind against delusion and deception.
Ereshkigal, hold back the Demons of despair, danger, and death.
Bestow confidence as I stalk the forbidden and forsaken

Sathoth sabaoth sabaoth

Stand with me and within me
That I may walk forth free from fear and harm.

An Abjuration of the Spirit

To be employed when a spirit greatly offends and no further contact is desired.

I am an initiate of Hekate Ereschkigal,
Hekate Propolos,
Hekate Phosphoros,
Hekate Chthonia,
Hekate Trimorphos,
Hekate, Lady of Tartarus,
Hekate, undefeatable,
Hekate, in whose great darkness
Your small shadow is dissolved as nothing,
And in whose name I abjure thee
And all signs and forms of thee.

Hekatean Herbal Incantations

*I modified these ever so slightly to include Hekate.

Hallowing Herbs

Hail be thou holy herb,
Plucked from the ground,
Friend unto the people,
In love and friendship bound,
Thou hast healed many a wound
And soothed many a pain.
Awaken now to keep thy word
In Hekate’s name.

Harrowing Herbs

Hail be thou potent herb
Plucked from the ground,
Friend unto the poisoner,
In wrath and vengeance bound.
Thou hast ruined many a lord
And inflicted many a pain.
Awaken now to keep thy word
In Hekate’s name.

Feel free to select a specific epithet that aligns with your intent.
