Unsure where to start, or where to turn next? This is a recommended reading list

Please feel free to add any books which helped you as a beginner
Highways of the mind - Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki (one of the best books on visionary magick ever written). Or anything ever by Dolores Ascroft-Nowicki, most underrated author under the sun.
The psychonaut manual - Archtraitor Bluefluke, a free, online manual on chaos magick, ideal for people who can’t spend a dime but have an internet connection.
Quareia - Josephine McCarthy. Not a book, but a whole system that can be studied by a beginner (all the way up to adept), includes courses in divination and visionary magick. Also, all free (except the tarot deck, I think).
The complete works of St John of the Cross - St John of the Cross. That priest knew way, way more than any so called magus out there, so READ IT. If you can read it in its original Spanish that’s even better.
The bible - by a bunch of junkies thousands of years ago. Skip the desert survival manual, the lysergic book of revelations and all that crap. The salms HAVE power. So the gospels.
The magick of angels and demons - Henry Archer. One of the best modern grimoires out there.

Rites of Lucifer by Temple of Ascending Flame.
I have experience with the above, so ask away. Prometheus of Rites of Lucifer is a spicy Invocation.
Success magic Damon brand if you don’t believe in magic, or are just beginning and want proof that’s easy.
All you need is dedicated of five minutes a day for 42 weeks.
If everyone did this one operation in full, let me tell you- I don’t know if they’d ever need anything else because most things would just fall into place at the right time.
I did the operation on speed mode, and can only think of someone took the time to do it right, even if they doubted magic existed- five minutes a day is not much throw away time- most people waste more on social media, and to believe even for only that five minutes, would set the pace for the rest of the lives.
So I highly recommend this one, simply because it powerful, it is not chaotic, everything just unfolds naturally in your favor and you find the right things at the right times etc- so it will propel you toward all those things you already work magic towards getting.
It’s a nice companion to life. I saw results with in days, and they have continued but they are clearly coming in hot right now at almost two years later lol.
As my research I should advice that all Power of magick books are effective, Especially The Magick of Angels and Demons by Henry Archer and Lucifer and Hidden Demons by Theodore Rose though some friends had mentioned these books before.
@Thierry007 hello and welcome to the forum. Do you mind telling us a bit about yourself, l where you’re from, if you have any experience with magic and what type you practice if any? Are those books the only magic you’ve done?
Decades ago she came to Australia and I met her twice - once during a ritual. Let’s just say it was a let down and I never read any of her books, owing to my meetings. My Magickal Teacher respected her.
Haven’t used them, but plan to.

Konstantinos - Summoning Spirits
Miller - Consorting with Spirits
Working with currently -

Rivas - Candle Magick: A Spellbook for Good and Evil
Casas - Hoodoo Herbal
Kuriakos - A Complete Course in Magick
Ford - Beginning Luciferian Magick

Among side reading. Of which there are about five minimum at any given time.
Liber Null & Psychonaut by P.J. Carroll – but it’s already been mentioned.
Demons of the Flesh by Nikolas and Zeena Schreck.
Lords of the Left-Hand Path by Stephen E. Flowers Ph.D.
The Taro – it is a book.
The Tarot by Alfred Douglas – a true classic.
The Tao Te Ching & I Ching (Complete Idiot’s Guide to The, is a great version). Both are hard if you have no Chinese blood/culture, but eminently worth it. Very pedestrian compared to Taro. Crowley and Karl Germer put me on to both. Also, The Art of War by Sun Tzu.
Al, I’ve edited this to remove links and it will remain so until I (or you, or someone else) can ascertain and provide proof that the linked books are out of copyright or otherwise able to be freely distributed.
The Codex Saerus? If so, happy to reinstate it – please confirm for me. I’d check my own copy of Liber Null & Psychonaut, but it’s packed in a storage box somewhere.
